How hard does your stomach feel at six months?

Every woman and pregnancy is different. What your stomach looked like before will be a big factor too. For example, if you were very thin before your pregnancy, with a flat tummy, then probably pretty firm at six months. But, if previous to your pregnancy you were maybe a little thick in the middle, maybe not so much? All women start showing at different times too. When I was 6 months pregnant I looked like I was about to give birth with a very firm and very round belly. I was pretty slim before though. I remember being 7 months pregnant in line at a store. The woman in front of me asked how far along I was. When I told her 7 months, she said, "Me too!" I swear to you (and everyone else, I guess!) that even after she told me she was pregnant I still didn't believe her. She said she just gets "thick in the middle" with her pregnancies (apparently this was her 3rd). Her belly was not "hard" at all. She was not in any way fat either. Weird. I remember my mother telling me, "Adrienne, this is the hardest your belly will ever be...so enjoy it." Too funny!

I dont know why people keep asking about stomach hardness... its harder than if you were pressing on your not pregnant stomach. Sometimes it gets tight and hard in an area or region... but the whole uterus creats a very hard surface under the skin, where ever it is its hard when you press on it. Not like pushing on a regular stomach at all.

Its different than if the uterus is contracting, then its just hard and crampy and feels like a rock. But you can feel the muscles contracting and tell that its hard from contractions.

Everyone is different. For me, it was like a basketball because I am very under weight. For my daughter, her tummy isn't so hard because she has a lil extra cushion. :) In my opinion, there is no real definite answer to this question. No pregnancies are the same. :)
Best of luck to you.

Are you attempting to experience your "bump"? How a procedures alongside are you? i'm in basic terms approximately 11 weeks alongside and that i will tell there's a bump in basic terms above my pelvis yet mendacity down i do no longer see something. possibly via fact gravity facilitates the uterus fall backwards, once you upward thrust up, it tilts forward somewhat.

I hear it's like a fruit - watermelon, for example. It is firm, but is still somewhat maliable.
