why didn't God tell him there were no WMD's? Was God testing "W"'s character?

Poor Bush, he was listening to the voices in his head, not to be construed with anything that God might say to him. Bush used this term to elicit support from the religious right. Maybe in some sick; twisted way, Bush believes he IS the Almighty. He will have a very rude awakening soon.
God knew his true character, without testing it, long before he became President. Maybe recent events, are some type of punishment, from God, for what Bush has been doing, and lying about for almost 6 years.

Bush is a christian president and there is really nothing wrong with that. God obviously isn't welcomed in Iraq, so how would he know if there were weapons of mass destruction. Also, why are you asking such a retarded question? Think about what you are asking...it is like saying why do people who care more about others than themselves die of cancer? No matter what you say, there is no correct answer especially because not everyone believes in God.

I like beatings, so I'm going to stick up for George W on this issue. I don't care what the press says, I still think WMD's were out there somewhere. George has seen something we haven't - I can see it in his eyes. Either a compelling government report or a photograph of trucks hauling WMD's across the border, we'll never know, but for us to say there were no WMD's is going beyond our reach at this time. We can't be so sure of a statement like that so lets give George a pass.

To 'Action' above me:
Because you and George believe it doesn't make it so. Until WMDs are found, there were none there.

When I reach on the night table for my glasses and it's not there and anyone else who looks do not see it there neither they nor I insist it is there. My kids will disown me or call me senile if I adamantly claim the glasses IS on the table.

Why would God talk to him of all people in the first place? Far as I'm concerned, the whole "talking to a higher power" thing is probably a misunderstanding. He probably just left in his earpiece is all.

higher power my butt. i betcha bush got high and his daddy told him a story. you know if he was to meet God, he'd call him g-dogg or something and piss him off which would result in the beginnings Armageddon. he's a lying idiot and he's clueless, so he listens to his cronies and believes every word they say and attacks the wrong country. i dont think he's done anything but wear air force one out and i cant think of one good thing that will come out of his presidency

god i swear neocons have selective hearing.
you can't just dimiss something because you don't believe it happened. and acting like your 16 and making fun of somebody doesn't make you right. check facts, baseing things on stupid assumptions is how we got into iraq in the first place. or do you people still pray to your god that there really is WMD's in iraq

I have heard on the news, and it is documented he belonged to a cult in college. He still holds up the sign of the cult at most of his speeches. His mother called him the "chosen one".
In my raising there is only one son of God. It possibly could mean he was the favorite of hers. I can not see how a mother can choose between her children but I can't judge her.

God did not participate in the Iraq war.

God didn't, the Clinton administration intelligence told him that. I think God was more concerned with a tyrannical dictator who was killing his own people and suppressing his people by imposing his will on them instead of God's will. But I could be wrong since I'm not God.
