I hate when a "bad call" is made and we can't challenge because we feel we HAVE to save it incase a MORE important "call" comes up.
I have a solution and would like your feed back..I say that if a coach challenges a call and it turns out that the call must be overturned because it was bad then the coach who challenged should not be penalized by lossing his next cahllenge. On the other hand if a coach is found to be wrong and the call is upheld, only then would the coach forfiet one of his challenge's.
I think this would assure an unbiased game and I can't see a problem if this rule were instituted..any comment's?

I agree or maybe rather than taking a challenge away give the other team + 5 yards for delay of game.

I disagree. The point of limiting the challenges is that the coach will only challenge a call that is of great importance. If there were ten challenges a game, the pace of the game would be slowed a lot. Not a good thing.

The smaller calls over the course of a game should even out ... confining the challenges to the more significant calls is practical.

One change I say should be considered is that the booth should initiate more reviews. In hockey, for example, all goals are automatically reviewed by the booth officials. In the NFL, I think all touchdowns should be specifically reviewed by the booth officials. They should delay extra points by an extra 30 seconds to allow a proper review of the touchdowns to occur. It is so often very close as to whether the ball broke the plane, or whether the receiver got both feet down with possession of the ball.

I agree also. That is a very good decision and you should maybe take it up with the National Football League.
