this boy named chris really likes me but i don't like what so ever how do i get him to back off

There are several ways depending on: how you feel about him (do you want to hurt his feelings or not). Is this at school, work, or someone who comes into where you work? If this is at school, just ignoring him might not work, guy's at this age sometimes just haven't been around girls enough to understand subtle hints such as ignoring him. If he is a smoothy scumbag, telling him to back off " I am not interested" might not be enough. You might have to shoot him down in front of a lot of people and make him feel stupid. At work try the nice approach first, if ineffective simply tell your boss, sexual harassment suits are bad news for the boss and the guy (even the threat of one usually works) If it is a customer bothering you where you work a very public " you are not my type, my type is at the very least attractive, you're pathetic, now leave before I call the police" works very nicely.

Tell him. Straight out and with no attitude - You're doing him a favor by making it as clean cut as possible. The more you beat around the bush, the more personally invested he gets. Be compassionate, but be firm. It's brutal otherwise.
Whatever you do - Do NOT lie to him. He'll find out, and then think you're just toying with him. It's an easy situation to get into, but a dangerous one to get out of. DO NOT lie to him.

make up a boyfriend and says hes from camp or pretend to act like someone chris wouldent like when ur around him so he wont like you anymore or just tell him back off

Tell him that you don't want to hurt him, but you really just think it would be better if you two were only friends. Also, you can tell him that you think that your friendship could possibly move to something more, but he shouldn't push it, since you probably don't want a love relationship with him!

tell him u need time for a few days that u need space. he'll understand and if he dose'nt then he is not the right guy 4 u!
