I have been accpeted to UCIrvine and UCRiverside. They're both good universities...however I could live at home while attending UCI and be with my boyfriend, where as if I went to UCR I'd have to live on campus and far from my boyfriend. My mom and I have been driving eachother CRAZY! and I think it'd be good for both of us if I moved out...but I'd miss my BF! What should I do!?

Honestly, you shouldn't base your decision solely on the distance from your boyfriend. Take a look at everything, cost, living, classes, etc. Not that you're boyfriend isn't important, because it definitely something that needs to be considered. But remember, there are probably tons of ways for you to see each other. I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years, my boyfriend and I go to different schools, we visit each other and meet up at home almost every other week. You can work it out if you really want to go to UCR over UCI. The decision is ultimately yours, so good luck!

Live on campus. One of the highlights of going to college is getting out of the home and living with other students.

I live far from my fiance because of school, but we make it work because we work hard at it. I would not give up the chance to live on campus.

Good luck!

Come move into my one bedroom apartment and attend the School of Hard Knocks and then the University of Life.
