How come corn is always pooped whole?

Ever notice that no matter how much you chew corn it is still whole when it comes out?? WHY!!!!!!!!!!

The hull actually stays in tact, its the inside of the corn that is digested.

I've always wondered til somebody told me this. Learn something new everyday.
