Sure there are lots of other names, You can use honey, hun, babe, darling, sweetie, sweetness, hunny bunny, baby love, pumpkin, munchkin.

Perhaps he doesn't like sweet names. Some boys don't (at least not in public). What about Babe, Sweetness, Honey Bunch, Sweet Cheeks, Angel Face, Love, Precious, Darlin',.
