I'm 31 years old and my wife is 24. We have 4 children with twins. Have been married for 6 yrs.
My wife has 3 sisters and a brother. One of the sisters and brother are married. My other two sister in laws are 17 & 15 yrs and they have been living with us for the past six years.
I treat my two sister in laws as my own daughters and they call me dad and I'm fine with that. My wife's parents died when they were 3 & 5 yrs. They've been living with us for 6 yrs and they have called me dad all this time. My wife's happy about it and says I'm great.
I treat them like my own daughters from my heart and have done everything to them including all expenses. I've bought two houses for them, for their marriage. They say that I am like their own dad and even kiss me, when going out.When I married they were 9 & 11 and from then they have been kissing me Is it okay for them to kiss me in a father daughter way and calling me dad?

you are the only dad they have so it's ok that they call you dad and kiss you like a dad - they are lucky to have you and sounds like you are lucky to have them as daughters.
and for that person above me -your nuts my girls still kiss there dad hi and bye and they are in there 20's!! I'm 40 and would love to be able to throw my arms around my dad and give him a kiss

You have practically done everything for your wifes' sisters except officially adopt them. Why this concern? Either someone is meddling and accusing of something you are not guilty of, or perhaps you are feeling some guilt because you are have some bad feelings towards the girls. Only you can answer that. Kissing in a family way is different than kissing in a lustful way. On the other hand, 15 and 17 is almost old enough that perhaps you should consider giving up the kisses. It is after all a very influential time in their lives, and perhaps caution is best. Sometimes a jealous aunt or uncle can cause serious damage. I would talk to your wife and see if she has anything to offer in your situation.

It depends on how they kiss you. If it were on the lips then I suppose it might be a little inappropriate. If it were on the cheek then I believe that’s fine. Maybe your having conflicting thoughts about how they are treating you. You have a young wife and her sisters are not that much younger. Since you rocked the cradle as it were, because you had said you've been with her for six years or more I would think that you are having thoughts about them. Do not get me wrong; keep thinking to your self that your a father figure to them and if you still have thoughts that run along the line of how unsure you are on how they treat you. I would seek a little professional advice.

you seem to be the only man who thay can call dad, and love like a father, so i dont think it is a problem. i am 25 and i still kiss my mom and dad on the lips. i love them and tat is a way that my family shows their love.
