There is something called a "Mosquito Magnet". It looks like a little engine, and the mosquitoes are attracted to it. It works very well. I live in Alaska, where the mosquitoes are extremely thick and bothersome in the summer. Many people buy these units. Bug spray doesnt work as well as the commercials on tv, unless you are using pure DEET (which is bad for your skin). I have a friend that has one, and he likes to change the trap and let everyone know how many mosquitoes he killed that day or week. I personally dont have one, because we have swallows (birds) swarming the area, and they are natures mosquito killers. So unless you can get some swallows to breed in your backyard, get a mosquito magnet.

If you have some money you can get one of those Mosquito trap devices for your yard from Home Depot or Lowes. They cost like $200-$250 or so.

They suck don't they?? No pun intended there...LOL. There really is no effective way to get rid of them. While i am not a big fan of slathering my body in chemicals, that seems to be your only defense against the nasty little creatures. I have also used Avon's "Skin So Soft" and that seems to work pretty good for some people and is allot nicer to your body too. Will leave you soft and smelling nice while chasing the mosquitoes away...BTW..Citronella does not work in my experience.

Mosquitoes become a nuisance when they enter homes. You can get rid of mosquitoes by using pest control.

Firstly, get rid of all stagnant water that may cause breedings. Get someone to fumigate the area atleast once a month.

Buy a nice "Bug Zapper" and give it to your next door neighbor as a Christmas present. He'll think highly of you for being so thoughtful and you can reap the benefit of him having it.
