my husband took off my back, history etc buttons off my computer and iwant to put them back on do you know how

Hmmm this is interesting, I won't mention how strange it seems that your husband took off the back and history buttons off your browser....might want to check those when you get them back. HERE IS HOW: on the top of your web broswer where there is a space under the address bar, (its usually a pale off white type color) you should see buttons like File Edit View and so on. If you RIGHT CLICK in the space BESIDE of those buttons, a little box should pop up with a list of buttons to be shown. On some browsers, there is a check mark beside each type of button. Your Back, History and other buttons are probably labled as the Standard Buttons. Highlight "Standard Buttons" and left click. Your buttons should reappear!

Just right click on the upper part of this page, then customize/ add remove. Just add what you want back the buttons you want and lock the taskbar. Warn your husband that if he does it again, you will....create your own profile and lock him out.

Click on view, toolbars- then make sure there is a checkmark next to standard buttons..

cl Toolbars -- see an arrow pointing right, now a submenu
click on Standard

right click on browser toolbar,

then click customize ..... you should be able to add back the history, back buttons & any others you want to change

Go to VIEW, TOOLBARS, CUSTOMIZE....then select the icons you want or deselect the icons you no lomger want.
