The best haunted houses dont just have fake hands in a bowl of jello. You need to attack people pshycolgicaly. Do things that scare everyone, not just on hallowen but all the time. Use things like the dark, silence, being alone,being followed, redirection (meaning have something to gather attention and scare from the opposite side) a mirror and a wall works great. put the mirror in a place so thaat when people walk up they see you standing there but dont realize that its a mirror and you are actually behind them. A sensory overload also works. Have foul smells like rotting meat, flashing lights, loud pounding sound, and things hangin from the roof like chains for touch. combine all these things and your brain will freak out. Happy haunting

we did a haunted house 2 years ago in my moms garage and had someone in the very top with a chainsaw, and when people would walk up he would turn it on... i couldn't count all the screams!

maybe get alot of those old toys that look scary. fake limbs hanging by strings... maybe soak the strings in fake blood so when they touch it then they are all like. ewwy.
