If I'm asking somebody to dance outside the safety
of my living room, then I've had too much to drink,
so...in that case, I'm sure I'd say something like...
"Hey baby...wanna boogie?"

I take the indirect route. i dance alone first, make direct eye contact with a questioning look on my face, if they look confused, like what me? I give them a smile, nod my head, and the little come over here index finger motion. If they join me, great, if not, I smile, shrug, and keep dancin.
