Try Circuit City or Best Buy. I know a guy (son of a friend) who is a sophomore in college now, and he's been working at Best Buy since he was 16. When he went away to college, after finishing a year at the junior college nearby, he was able to get transferred to their Best Buy in his college town.

Your father's farm, your mom's business? It's usually family oriented or you can do house sitting, babysitting your neighbor or pet sitting is good too. Also you can get a work permit with your parent's signature and then you can work anywhere pretty much.

There's alot of things, you can work retail or food service. If you like kids, you can babysit or tutor.
