Surgeons that specialize in the spine make a base salary of
$1,352,000 according to research from http://www.allied-physicians.com/salary_surveys/physician-salaries.htm

In second place is a Neuorsurgeon they make around $936,000 a year base salary.

In third is a Radiologist at $911,000 a year.

Of course this is based on a national average.

If you are thinking of your own carrier, think what you want to do the rest of your life. I'm sure being whatever type of doctor would give you what you and your family need.

I really don't know what's the highest payed doctor...?
