More than just a moment...the 5 months and 1 day I spent riding my Cannondale touring bike across the US, from Washington to Maine to Florida, in 1992. Every day was a wonderful dream. Hardly a day goes by without thoughts of that trip and all the fantastic people I met along the way.

Hmmmm....perhaps if you had been the one giving birth it would be different!? = ) I dislike needles so much that I chose to give birth without anesthetic. I don't want to relive that excruciating pain. But the moment - well the 3 moments, when the nurse placed a newborn in my arms - that would be heaven.

I had quite a few moments go through my mind and they all seemed to have to do with times when I was in a quiet place, it was summery and I was outside enjoying a pleasant day. Just watching clouds and listening to the bees buzzing in the flowers and my whole world felt at peace. (-:
