Some Mensa members will go to hell.
Some Mensa members will go to heaven.

Mensa is merely "man professing themselves to be wise..."

Romans 1:21

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

I have to say, I am unsure about Mensa. My sister took the test and is a member. I took a test on line and a copy of her test, and passed, but never went to the one you have to pay for.
So needless to say, I am not a member and SHE is, and I gotta say, when it comes up, its a little "offputting". It cant help but sounding bragadocious to say you are a mensa member. It seems a little obnoxious.
The best line was when I had a party and my brother in law, who didn't know my sister much said to her..." wow, thats really great that you are a mensa member and no one can even tell!" I laughed my *** off.

I am and it's ok. It really depends on the local chapter you belong to - the one I was at in college was great, but here in Dallas, eh, its ok. You get discounts and stupid things like that. It mainly helps me get hired places, everytime they see that for some reason, the employer thinks ill be a good worker cause I'm intelligent. But really, you can accomplish all the same things with or without Mensa tagged on to your moniker.

I took the test but never got the results. They wanted me to go back and talk to them for some reason, but I never did. They seemed like "alternative lifestyle" sorts of people.

officially I am....what do I think of it? Good question. I think it is rated a little harsh by the public in general and I think many of the members take themselves way too serious...
