This is not me but two friends. They met two months ago. The man is turning 19 soon and she is 16. They have had sexual relations but she keeps turning him down when he asks for a relationship. Is this Legally and or Morally ok?
This is taking place in NY where the age of consent is 17.

No she's too young to consent, it is legally wrong.
Morally, there's something creepy about the difference in experience and daily pressure of a second-year college student and a high school junior. Enough for me to infer that the relationship is "predatory." Ugh.

Well, she's not 17 - so LEGALLY it is not okay for them to be having a relationship. I perhaps would think it's not moral either... but if she's the type of girl who is having sex without being in a relationship with him - then I suppose morals aren't really going to be getting in her way any time soon.

Depends on the state that you live. Where I live they allow 16-17 to have sex with someone that is 18-19-20-21. Older then that it is consider rape. So maybe search online, because each state has different rules and laws.

It's always about "I have this friend"....
If the age of consent is 17, then no. it's not legal, obviously.
If he is pressuring her to have sex with him, then it isn't moral either, obviously as well.
