Sorry to disagree with the crowd but I will say YES, birth control is overrated on two counts.

Birth control technology is overrated because it is not completely effective even when used in accordance with the instructions.

Birth control is overrated because the wrong people use it, and the wrong people don't use it.

Please do not misconstrue this as an approval of eugenics. I personally think everyone should successfully complete a comprehensive parenting class before engaging in activities that could result in a pregnancy.

addendum: I forgot, sometimes birth control pills and chemicals cause adverse reactions in some users.

No, it is not. I think that birth control is great. Do you know how many f'ucking idiots out there having babies and making them as dumb and as ignorant as they are? Do you know how sad that is? The more you pop these birth control pills down these girls throat and have these girls mature enough to either realize that they do not want kids or want only one or wait til they are even older, then that is great. The more, the merrier!

Taking birth control pills is like taking diet pills... In the terms of birth control pills, it works but still use a condom. Diet pills, it works but still exercise. You will not get the full effect if you just half do everything.

Yes.

Every human being on the planet can be packed in a REALLY tight square that is 5 miles wide and 5 miles high.

Shows you how little we are... and how little a difference growth would make.

Absolutely not. It may sound hard, but unwanted kids screw up people's lives about half as much as theirs get screwed up by irresponsibility.

Kids are the joy of life until you look at the wallet. Or remember your former sex life pattern. Or want some silence. Or begin wishing you could turn your nose off.

No. As a matter of fact, I wish that more people in "accidental pregnancy and now I don't know what to do" situations would have thought about it.
