I have scheduled an appointment with the doctor for tomorrow morning but I wanted to know if anyone has ever had this problem with their sons. It started out as 1 little pimple on the inside of his thigh, the next day he had 3 pimples in that area and a few pimples on his scrotum and today he's got pimples on his penis, right on the tip!
It doesnt seem to bother him at all. I've always applied A&D on him at every diaper change, he's a year old and never had a diaper rash. Is this a diaper rash?

The skin isn't red at all, no scales, nothing like that. Just normal skin with tiny red pimples.

its a yeast infection. My kids would get them all the time when they were babies. Apply some antifungal cream ( monostat or some generic) to the affected area. It should clear up.

I don't think it's diaper rash....the doctor would know for sure, but it may be heat rash or yeast infection....My son gets little red pimple dots all over certain areas with heat rash. usually his back or neck. I agree to let his bottom air out.
Here's a symptoms guide...

in australia where i live the weather is often nice enough and its quite acceptable here, to let your baby go without nappies when youre out in your garden or if hes lying on a blanket etc coz the fresh air is soooo good for that sort of thing. it does just sound like nappy-rash, i worked in child-care for 8yrs and i had 2 kids myself. still go to DR tho, its always safer to be sure.... you sound like a gr8 mummmy..... best of luck.
