Laurell K. Hamilton has a series of books about Anita Blake -- Vampire Hunter. Not sure what kind of books you're looking for. These are kind of a combination of fantasy, humor, and a little sex. Pretty entertaining read.

Read Anne Rice's Vampire series. And then read The Witching Hour and that series. It's even better than the vampire series.

The last vampire series by Christopher Pike. Those are my favorite books in the whole world, and he is an an awesome author!!! READ THEM!!
