the first question you should ask yourself is do you still like that amazing girl you were with? and is there any hope of getting her back or do you even want her back. if not, then i would just go for it. you never know what will happen and if things will work out. and if you wait too long than you might not be able to go to this girl because she is with some other guy and gave up on you. good luck

So many broken hearts in the picture here. Maybe it's me thinking of the broken hearts, you've not mentioned once, a heart broken, just a lot of breaking up going on. Just think, it's one large karmic circle and no one has broken up with you, yet. And after this other girl leaves her boyfriend for you, you say, now, that you are not ready for dating yet, question is, what should she do???

Give yourself the time you need and explain to the girl that you like her but you just came out of a relationship and you need time to get yourself together and see if she wants to be friends until you are ready for more.

If you broke up with your girlfriend because you both felt that the two of you were incompatible, why would you wait to continue dating? The point of dating is to find that one person, so if you wait, then you may lose an opportunity.

I recommend that you take things slowly with this second woman as you've just been through a breakup and need time to heal; by all means get to know her better as a person and see if the two of you are compatible.

Tell her that you are really sorry, but at the time, you're really not ready to begin dating again. Ask her if it would be alright if you just hung out to take time for you to heal, and get to know her at the same time.

tell her you need some time to settle and just be single. the absolute worst time to start anything new is imediatly after any long term relationship. if she cares about you enough to break up with her boyfriend, then she should care enough to give you a couple weeks to get over being with girl #1

tell the girl that you like and that likes you that you just got out of a serious relationship and would like to just maybe hang out as friends and when your ready to move up a level you will let her know. if she really likes you she'll understand. if she doesn't wait she isn't worth your time.
