Just havin' some fun here - nothing mind altering. I'm just curious as to what you all think is scary, as it's different for everyone. Please list only one, not your own personal AFI 100.

Well, it's a classic. "The Last House on the Left". Really. That is a scary movie.

The Exorcist, only the original 1974 version. All the sequels are ok, but not scary. I saw it as a kid and again when it was re-released in 2000. I was horrified when people in the theater were laughing at the crucifix scene. That is NOT funny.

The Exorcist (The Version You Haven't Seen)
Only movie that ever really scared me and that scene in this version with Reagan coming down the stairs bent over backward and moving like a spider with blood gushing from her mouth was just too creepy.

I thought "The Hills Have Eyes" was really scary, but that's probably just because it played off of a lot of my phobias, like entire communities of genetically altered, blood thirsty psychos. That is the only horror movie that I have ever (almost) walked out of.

Ok I know this will sound stupid but I thought White Noise and Signs were soooo scary when I saw them. Signs still is but White Noise I realize is kind of not scary at all =P Oh well.
