well, I think if you run everyday for 15 minutes and add on minute each day you will slowly build endurance. endurace is the most important thing about basketball beacuse in practice you will mainly work on ball handling and shooting. they can't train you, int the course of an hopur to be able to run a mile without slowing down. since you're tall you'll have a little more difficulty with the ball handling too, so if you want to stay basic, all you do is find a brick wall and a ball. start with your dominet han and dribble on the wall
(step by step instructions at botom (See1))
now I personally think that if you can get down the endurance with a basic abilitiy to handle the ball you will be a starter. The shooting will come in practices because there the coaches will critiqe your shooting technique. so really, you don't need to waste your time shooting i think what your gonna need is endurance ansd basic ball handling fundmentils to succeed in being a starter and help your team.

1. face wall (arms length away)

2. lift hand holding ball up to the wall

3. push ball at wall (from elbow length above head)

4.contiuisly repeat dribbling on wall until arm is tired

5. switch and repeat

Hoped I helped.

Practice defense. Run backwards and to zig zags down the court. Then following someone without the ball down the court. Tell him to turn quickly whenever he wants. Then practice defense in the paint. With your height, that's important. Practice using your hand to control the offensive player. Lean on him, and give him a slight shove with your hand, hide it from the referee, to control his movement.
