It is amazing how many people answered this question and said they rather be alone then with the wrong person, I am not critizing anyones answer, but people keep it real, It my sound logical to say you rather be alone and it is easy to say in hine sight but when it boils down to it, if that were really the case then why are there so many people on yahoo answers talking about how they are in a relationship that they are not happy with but still continue to stay, a relationship where someone has cheated, or a relationship that has gotton boaring, ect. ect. ect. the list goes on and on, if everyone just would vow to be alone when they were in a relationship with the wrong person then the Relationship catagory would not be the most popular. Weather a person stays with the wrong person for sex, conveniance, time
I still think its the first option over being alone.

I'd rather be with a person who is "right" for me most of all but having said that, it would depend on how "wrong" they are for me.
If we both at least cared for one another and didn't hurt each other overly then I'd rather be with the "wrong person" than be alone. If they were thoroughly wrong for me and were evil towards me then perhaps being alone would be preferable.

I have been with the wrong person and there is not much difference between that and being alone. If I had to do it all over again I would choose being alone.

You picked a good time to ask this question. I'm sitting here now, alone, wondering if it will always be like this for me. I wish I could find the right person, but if that doesn't happen, I'll survive. Being with someone who emotionally abused me for years, you would think I would whole-heartedly believe in your statement. But sometimes, I just long to have a special someone.
