my favorite band is Fall Out Boy.
I also love Simple Plan, The All-American Rejects, Green Day, Good Charlotte, The Fray, The Killers. And James Blunt and Jack Johnson .... but those are a different genre.

depends on your age...I find the classic rock songs and bands like ac/dc/ meatloaf, queen, bonjovi, and stacks more like that are great for kicking back with...mayby if you are a bit younger Linkin Park, Mary J Bligh, Savage Garden, Sandi Thom

songs that make you get up and dance. i wouldn't necessarily choose love songs because not only will that make you bored but depressed too. you may get emotional and start crying unless thats what you want. a lot of guys listen to rap i guess
