I am a man with one full time job, part time fire fighter, through a distance learning course at uni, house husband for 5 days a week since my wife is in very busy with her full time education.
may be in many of the cases it is the women that simply should tell the husband to change and be firm with it. For example, if he doesn't want to do any housework, leave the clothes un ironed, don't cook or whatever.

Make it fun. Participate...don't feel so B.C. about it. If he can say UGH!, and carry on w/ his bronto drumstick and watch you clean the cave..then that is not fair...To me anyway. Love eachother first..then team up and clean the freekin house together. Correlate and don't interrupt either party's T.V. shows. Old fashioned is one thing....Dictatorship is another. If he wants to be a @#$%, don't fix him no taters, and throw him off the ship!!!! Hope you got a laugh and I didn't instigate anything.
