You are safer not using your real name. That is a general rule with the internet. Take your time and see what sort of communications result from your posting and then if you still want to put your name out there well... you will be making a better informed decision anyway! (maybe first name only)

OK on myspace u have to start without a picture. It is kinda hard to start automatically with a picture. and u can write anything u want others to know about you and stuff. I have to tell u that i am a myspace addict I'm almost always on myspace but you know i have to make time for homework and stuff i really recommend you to not get too caught up on myspace. lol well i shouldnt really say that but whatever. Bueno basically you can put almost anything on your page if it is not appropriate tom will kick you out

I love myspace!! I am addicted to it. You can start without a picture it is ok...put whatever you want people to know. Use your real name or a nick name. Whatever you want to do, it is up to you. Have fun in the myspace world. :)

I love it, it keeps me in touch with the people I want to stay in touch with and helps me track down people I have been missing and vice versa.
Just be careful of Phishing... be sure to read the url when ever you click a link to be sure it is indeed myspace related.
but most of all have fun...

I tried it once to see what all the fuss was about. I thought it was pretty poor to be honest. There are other, much better sites out there.
