If you're not sure if you got your contacts out of your eye, where could the contacts go?
If the contacts went behind/under your eye/eyelid would your eyes feel normal or would there be discomfort?

Contact lenses can't get stuck behind your eye because of a membrane called the conjunctiva. It starts at the inside of the top eyelid, goes up the inside, over the part of your eye that you can see, up the inside of the bottom eyelid, and attaches to the edge of the bottom eyelid. So, there's no chance of a contact drifting off into your head. If you think you've got a contact stuck, flush your eye over a plugged sink with lots of water. If there is a contact in there, it will come out, and you can fish it out of the sink.

Chances are it came out when you were taking it out but it fell off of your finger. There is a slight chance it could have folded and still be under your lid. The contact will not get lost or stuck behind your eye. It can be easily removed - preferably by an eye care professional. If it is in there still it will be a bit dry but rarely is there discomfort.

Yea, I had my Contact Lenses in in the pool and I thought I lost one of them, but turns out when I looked in the mirror the contact was on the white part of my eye under my eyelid, it is very uncomfortable, it kinda feels like there is something behind your eye scratching it, just look in the mirror and roll your eyes 360 Degrees to check for them.

I once thought I had lost a contact in a pool, I felt no discomfort whatsoever. But then about 2 hours later or so, it came out from behind my eye, I guess. So to answer your question, no it doesn't have to hurt, but it could.

But, if you were trying to get it out, you probably did and it's somewhere outside your eye.

Eye flush. If you can do it with your regular bottle by pouring it over the eye, you can purchase and eye wash at any local drug store or Walmart may also have them. It will be fine. No doubt it wikk wash itself out during the night into the corner of your eye, but in the meantime you can try the eye wash if it is bothering you.
