I have been trying for a baby for nearly 1 year and I cannot seem to get pregnant. We tried it on my ovulation days and eat healthy meals but my period comes on the dot every month. Please help me! And yes, my period is regular and I'm not obese or anything.

You are aware that to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Sounds like your husband has a low sperm count.

You and him should take iron vitiams, every day. Get the test strips from a drug store to tell when you are ovulating, it only happens two days per month.

A year is long enough to consult a doctor. Don't waste anymore time playing the guessing game.

Maybe you should have a doctor check both of you out; you could be sterile, or he could have a low sperm count, or there could be other reasons. Once the doctor figures it out, you can get to work to fix the problem! Good luck!

I had the same problem, but I went to see my OB because I kenw that something was wrong. I found out that I have a uterine abnormality and I'm glad that I went to her because she is helping me take the next step.

maybe you're stressing too much, or it might just be hard. A friend of mine said his parents tried something like, 3 times a day for 3 or 5 years before they finally had him. ^^; good luck

i dont think theres any magical answer, maybe you should forget you are trying and try to relax a little more, perhaps the doctor could do some tests to check that everything with yourself and partner is ok
good luck

you can always go to a fertility doctor..take clomed or lupron injections..have you and your partner both been tested? sometimes the male has a low sperm count, or you could try artificial insemination...and lastly invitro fertilization.
