Is it true that getting a 30+ on the ACT will get you a full ride into almost any college? If not, what does it take? Same with the SAT's as well.

If I scored a 25 on the ACT's in 7th grade do you think I'll be able to score above a 30 next year as a junior?

I got a 32. I got into the only place I applied (University of Michigan, rather competitive school) pretty easily, though I didn't get a full ride. If you are talking about a local community or decent/average public college, you'll probably get some sort of scholarship, and POSSIBLY a full ride, but by no means is your ACT/SAT score a total determining factor. GPA, activities, rank, etc. have about equal conisderation as well.

On a side note, 30 is about average at most Ivy Leagues, with a 32 being average for MIT students. I do not know the new format of the ACT, but if I recall correctly my friend got a 27 in 7th grade and a 30 when she took it as a junior. That was back in 2003 however. Just make sure you prep if you are concerned about it, and you'll already have upped your points a few with the initial effort.

30+ won't necessarily get you a full ride. Most schools don't give out scholarships based on stuff like test scores alone. You'll also ave to have top-notvh grades and do awesome extracurriculars.

But a 30+ score, combined with good grades, will get you into almost any college here in the U.S.

A 30 won't get u a full ride unless you are a minority. I got a 28 and am enrolled in classes of Calculus and AP Chemistry. If you have taken precalc and chem u should be able to get 28-32 Good Luck
