I think it does when it comes to social standing, and maybe a little bit of the job world, but just being pretty doesn't mean that you'll make it far. A good mix of beauty and brains is what the usual formula is.

Now maybe if you were famous like Paris Hilton, you COULD get away with just being pretty.

It does make some things easier.

However... as you are growing up, the things that help you mature, learn, and grow are actually the trials and adversities that you experience.

Some people who are attractive, intelligent, and wealthy, among other positive attributes... actually grow up thinking life is fair and easy. That does not prepare them very well for the real world.

in the long run , not in a professional way-employers seek dependable, trustworthy people to fill positions--appearance may help for more public relations jobs, but still not required to get the job done; perhaps the only good is it may attract attention socially, but is it looks what keep it going?

Sadly it does. I have a friend who is beautiful as all get out!! Perfect in all the right places!! Big boobs and everything!! She is getting paid 1500 dollars a weeks for being a secretary!! Her job is sooooo easy!! Could I get that amount of money doing her job? Hell no!!
