is cuz i saw the sims open for buisnnes and i saw the sims online something like that please tell me what both of those games are about i know what the sims are i have the games but what is the theme for open for buisness and what is the theme for the sims online expansion packs?

revoltix is correct. The Sims Online is a full-blown game and not an expansion. It's a pretty neat concept, but I still prefer to play the non-online versions.
I love Open for Business. It is more involved than expansion packs such as University, and allows you to sell a wide range of items/services. I highly recommend it!

open for business is basically running your own store. I enjoy it more than i do the other expansions.
The sims online is not an expansion, it is a whole game. you pay a subscription fee and get to play online with other people. Its not brilliant by any means but it is different.
I recommend open for business.
