1. restart your computer and see if that fixes it.
2. If not, make sure your speakers are plugged in, turned on and the volume both on the speakers and in Windows is not muted and turned up.

Ask again if none of this helps and be sure to mention what you already tried.

well i had the same problem and you should turn off your computer and not leave it on all night.If you have a laptop then make sure you turn off the laptop and dont just close the laptop and let it sit on all night or else there will be no sound at all....hope this help coz i left the computer on for 3 days and the next days no sound at all..good luck REMEmBER TURN OF COMPUTER OR NO SOUND AT ALL!!1

on the bottom i meen were the time display (taskbar) if you can see the speaker symbol cheek that the sound is

1) cheek weather the drivers of the sound card, if it is ok then
(Go to control panel and click on speaker symbol here we can cheek the driver or disable/deleted.
2) cheek disable or mute conition , please enable it by clicking on the speaker symbol and remove the right mark.

I'm sure you'll get better answers later, but here's what I was told to do when it happened to me.

Unplug and plug back in all connections from PC to Modem. It worked.

Check the speakers, make sure they're plugged in. Also check the volume, it might be muted.

Reboot....you just don't have enough resources.
