Taking a college research writing course this semester. We have to write a 12pg plus (not nearly as long as some courses I've had!) research paper, BUT it must be related to our major. I'm doing elem ed, but plan on going directly into a master's program for library media. The end goal is to be a school librarian. Any ideas? It has to be a research paper, not a persuasive essay.

How have the learning strategies of today's K-12 students been affected by pervasive technology? For example, if Sesame Street affected a generation of learners by bombarding them with short bits of video learning, how is text messaging (for example) affecting literacy?

how about the effects of changing technology upon our ability to share, store, transmit information from one person to another.. and the problems associated with the rapid change of mediums used for storage (like the ones that are obsolete now and hard to find equipment to use a record, microfiche, etc).
