I hate to say this, but in time your stove will get plenty of scratches... it's just the first few that break your heart.

If you use fine steel wool or a not-too-abrasive pad, you will create a shiny area that won't match the rest of the stainless steel. When my Wolf backsplash got scratched, I used one of those rough green scrubber pads, and also a curly steel pan scrubber (very lightly). I couldn't remove the scratch but it did become less noticeable.

Make sure to rub in the same direction that the lines on the stainless steel already have. And rub from one end to the other.... don't just rub in a small 4-inch area. Do a test on the underside of the panel at the bottom of the stove if it's removable, or open the oven door and test on the side or the top edge.
