I think you should be given additional prize points for asking a very good question with a self contained constructive answer.
Perhaps yahoo might change its format here, with an additional two boxes to tick. 1) country of origin of sender 2) specific, or all countries to reply.

Lol. Yes, I wish people would say where they are, or where they are from. I think it is particularly important with political or social questions.... I tried answering a social question the other day that was meant for the UK, and I wrongly assumed that when they said "this country" they meant the US. Oooops! It definitely gave me a different perspective.

I think it's fun to "hear" where people are from, and yes, it does sometimes influence the relevance of an answer. Don't know why anyone would take issue with this.

This is the USA signing in. That is a good question. I guess they don't think it is important enough to mention. Many people who ask and answer questions are not putting a lot of thought into the process...they simply want to make a connection.
Red dog one, this is red dog two, signing off. .......Roger,that!

I think that they should put the country of origin under your avatar. I'm from Nebraska, USA
It would be neat to see what answers you get from which countries.

Has it ever not occurred to you that maybe some people might live in a country where they live in fear of the Taliban or the religious police, or Big Brother?
I kid you not. These things are real. I know people who have dealt with it.
