Russians are a bit tricky because they come from an odd place with lots of different microhabitats. On the surface, they are used to very dry conditions, but in their deep burrows, the temps can be lower and the humidity can hit 70% or more.

Try http://www.russiantortoise.org or http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Care/cs-russian.htm for ideas. They don't agree perfectly- but no two sources will. The trick here is to find out what sorts of micro-habitats you have in your pen, then tweak things to offer the best habitats for your tortoise(s).

You may be asking yourself, “What is the perfect home humidity for my home?”. The answer to that question is really not that simple. There are certain factors can determine what humidity level is the right one for your house. The simple answer is that a house humidity level should be somewhere between 30% and 50%.
