Actually, some of the wine come from Italy since they are famous for their grape wines. Because of Italy fertile land, it is suitable for grape growing. They are not the most expensive wine in the world(some are really expensive, can be up to a $500,000 per bottle) but are very good.

It always used to be that way, but over the last several years, other regions have really been producing some serious competition. I like a lot of the stuff coming out of Chile, Spain, Italy, Washington. Personally, I like the stuff that comes out of my kitchen, but mostly because I can produce a $2 bottle of wine at 20 percent alcohol.

not necessarily, the most expensive wine is champagn. It's made from 3 different types of grapes. The grape types are: Chardonnay, pinot noir, pinot meaunier.

well i think so! many of the french wine i have tasted is amazing! so much better than anything in the US. if you go there, you can get it soo much cheaper. the french are all about their wine.
