Tiki is having a great year, but with Tomlinson you've got a back that is on pace to break all-time records. If you look at Tiki's first five years in the league, he wasn't very good. Since he's been a starter, the Giant's have been one of the better run blocking teams in the league. Now, look at Tomlinson's first five years, arguably the best first five of any back ever, and he's never had a good O-line blocking for him. Bottom line, Tiki's retiring after this (his 10th) year, he has virtually no chance of making it into the hall. Tomlinson, if he were to retire after his 10th year (he's in his 6th now), would have close to twice as many rushing yards, and three times as many touchdowns as Tiki. Tomlinson is a future hall of famer, Barber isn't. I'd take Tomlinson, no question.

ny21tb: Tiki had just over 9400 yards rushing coming into this season (get your facts straight), and you're right he would have been on pace to break records, if he had played for 20 years! Also Tomlinson is on pace to have just as many recieving yards as Tiki. And as far as your comment about how it's questionable if Tomlinson will make it to 10 years, you're reaching pal, Tomlinson has only missed one game in his entire career. No one, I repeat, no one is as versatile as Tomlinson. How many touchdowns has Tiki thrown for? Has Tiki ever done the scoring trifecta (rush, recieve, and pass for a TD in the same game)?

It depends on what you're asking. Ladainian is a better back right now and will put up big yards every game. But you've got to remember that this is Tiki's last year, he's been playing for a while now and has accumulated some stats that I think might be right around where LaDainian will finish. So in the long run they're about equal, but this year youth will prevail.

Whoever says Tiki deserves to get puched in the face by LT.

LT is a way better RB than Tiki this does anybody remember week 6 HHEELLLOO... three touchdowns!!

Tiki is the fumble master of the NFL what he have his 300 fumble of his career Monday. Feels like it.

LT is the better RB hands down. What other RB can pass, catch and run.

Tomlinson can do more, he is a more complete football player. He can run, he can recieve he can throw the ball, he is a bigger weapon. Tiki is better running back, if your team needs to build a running game I think Tiki is your man, if you need a weapon the came make big game breaking plays go with Tomlinson

Both are good but Tiki is more versatile than, Ladanian. this year, He is leading the league in rushing and, is very high up on the list for total yards from scrimmage, all time. He accounts for 60% or, better of the GIANTS offense Ladanian is just a good running back and, occasional receiver.

LT. Tiki anounced retirement this year so if its just for one year get tiki. But other than that its LT. He will get more goal line chances.

LT. He's the most complete football player today.

He can run between the tackles, he can run to the outside, he runs with speed and power, he's an excellent pass catching back, he doesn't fumble, he actually can throw a TD here and there, and he's probably the best blocking half back.
