About text messaging price of a verizon cell phone?

I ordered the $4.99 per month for 250 text messages.
I saw it was 10cents more for each text message sent or received after the 250 text messages, but is the 250 text messages including the ones I received? or just the ones I sent?
Please tell me how it works

It is 250 total (sent and received) so you can send 125 and receive 125 then they charge you 10 cents

i have sprint so if you have question call Verizon and ask them to explain it to you again
