He's overrated because he plays in a media circus in New York City. So many sports talk radio, four daily newspapers, seven TV stations without cable. Weekly newspapers, magazines, blogs, NYC is flooded with media. And who do they pick on the $26 million a year man of course.

Alex Rodriguiez is very overrated and payed
but A-rod is still a good player all around

I got 25 million reasons why he's the most overrated player ever. But if it wasn't for his contract, then nah, others have been worse.

Its just you A-rod just needs to get comfortable with the Yankees when he does that he will become a huge threat for the yankees. He still is a huge threat he is just as good now as he was for seattle its just the team he is playing for is all allstars and he is just trying too hard.

He's an exceptional player who had an awful year. Playing out of his usual spot isnt an excuse anymore. I dont think anyone should have the pressure he has. Bandwagon Yankee fans they all look ridiculous when he homers and they all stand up and cheer .. but when he strikes out! forget it! I hope he gets traded to the Angels... he deserves to play in a better enviroment.

hes not overrated hes just in a huge slump, i think if he goes elsewhere youll see the old A-Rod, mike vick is the most overrated in sports

no way! It's just yankee fans dont appreciate him. their vision is all clouded w/ an overrated jeter. A-Rod is a great player, but how would you play when everyone's booing you?

No hes not. I hope he gets traded to another team so all you Yankee fans can get off his back. You guys are the ones who dont let him enjoy the game. You guys expect too much from one guy.
