Have you clicked on the gold star at the upper left corner? That's where I found mine.

Click onto Internet Explorer/View/Explorer Bar/Favorites

Usually uninstalling will restore previous browser settings.

If that doesn't work, try looking in the C:\Documents and Settings\ folder under your username. There should be a Favorites folder there.
