i just want the first words to a song and then just the background music. is there any way to do this? are there free programs?

It's next to impossible to remove the lyric track from a song once it has been "mixed down." That's where all of the tracks (voice, harmonies, bass, drums, etc.) have been merged into one track. I have had VERY limited success trying it, even with my professional sound editing programs. At best, all you can do is muffle the voice, then it sounds like they're under water or something.

you have a choice of 4 other software programs with it
all you have to pay is shipping which was only $3 for me
