Area = Length x Width

For example:
If a rectangle has length 4 meters and width 3 meters...
Area = 4 meters x 3 meters
Area = 12 meters squared

Another example:
If a rectangle has length √3 and width √5...
Area = √3 units x √5 units
Area = √15 units squared
