Aside from all of the above answers that I agree with, there is also the fact that commercial buildng codes absolutely require door locks on the building. Regardless of what their store hours are going to be. If they don't put them in, they don't pass inspection!

in case of emergency disasters, like hurricanes, tornados, stuff like that where they would have to close. You probably weren't looking for a logical answer, but I gave you one anyway.
