It looks like a beautiful restaurant with a great view. I think a dress and heels would be wonderful. I think your boyfriend should wear a dress shirt and tie. It doesn't say they have a dress code but it looks like a fancier restaurant. They even have a 360 degree tour so you can see where you will be eating!

I've been there before, and for the most part people are dressed pretty well. A dress and heels should be perfect...I wouldn't wear anything too formal...not a cocktail dress or anything too sparkly. A suit, slacks or even docker type pants would be fine for him. I've seen people go in with shorts and jeans as well. But the safe route would probably be a polo shirt, or long sleeved coller shirt, tie would be okay...maybe alittle too much...or even a sweater. I would rate it as business casual/semi formal restaurant.

What you are thinking about wearing is perfect. He should wear nice slacks and a sports coat or suit and a tie. People dress down so much anymore, have fun dressing up!!! I'm so happy for you. Have a great time.

Both of you should dress your best. It never hurts to be dressed up in San Fran.
