I don't mean to sound judgemental, but are you pretty attractive? Cause if you are simply ask a guy who's not dating anybody and I guarantee you he'll say yes. Guys are just like that. Dating is game much more easily played by women than by men, just that sometimes they hold back when there's really no need.

ask a boy who you like and know doesn't have a date or get someone from another school to take you, go with the friend of a friend---ask a friend to get you a date

You can go with friends and then dance with any single guy that asks you.
Or, spot a guy you like and have some girl tell him you not have a date. Maybe he will ask you.
Or, ask some guy yourself.
Just be confident.
