i had a natural m/c like 2 months ago and i want to try again is it safe to try now

My OB told me that I had to have one normal period before I could try again, and then it would be fine. I also had a friend who had a miscarriage shortly before I did, and her OB told her to wait three months... What did your OB tell you? Either wait the three months and be safe, or go off having only one "normal" period... I waited about 4months (just my personal preference) and am now 6months pregnant.

After my second miscarriage, my doctor told me the only reason to wait was so they could determine how far along I was if I got pregnant without having a cycle. So...we didn't wait and I got pregnant right after my miscarriage. I now have a healthy 8 month old daughter!!

I had a miscarriage on july 27 2006. I am now 5 wks prego.just had my first dr. appt and they we were healthy and everything looks good. i had 2 reg. periods before we tried agian .
