I mean come on you guys had bases loaded in the 9th off of TODD (I aint got some pine tar) JONES.
Y'all scored 1 run, but how come you didnt score more?
Was it because Detroit won that game fair and sqaure?
Or is it because y'all didn't get the clutch base hits y'all needed????
Talk about kenny rogers cheating all you want.
The fact remains that St Louis had a chance to win that game squarely and you didnt.

You are correct and the Cards did have a chance and did not take advantage of it!! In order for this series to remain a competitive one the Cards need to get the Bats going

Wait, Kenny Rogers sucks? last I heard he has pitched 23 straight scoreless innings. Rogers washed off what was on his hand after the 1st inning and still shut down the Cards. And as for the first answerer, just because people are Tigers fans doesn't mean that they live directly in Detroit. I live near Bloomfield Hills, just 30 minutes from Dtroit, and Bloomfield Hills just happens to be one of the richest cities in the United States. Kenny Rogers pitched legit and owned. Go cry about it if you want.

the cardinals gave up a perfect oppratunity even if Kenny Rogers did cheat. people need to stop complaining about that game (and IM A DIE HARD STL FAN!) we're at home 3 games strait if we were ment to win we will but if were not were just not! so just give tht game up and live in the present!! right now i just watched the cards score 2 to nothing in the 4th one out

I'm actually a Giants fan but I am hoping the Tigers will win. I don't know why, I just am. I have to tell you I was getting pretty scared there for a couple of minutes. Normally, Jones is pretty good, but I think they should have left Rogers in or that other pitcher that started the ninth. Cardinal fans are just trying to make up some lousy excuse for their lose. THey're almost worse than Yankee fans!!!

let me tell you a little something, in baseball the players let the littlest things get to them remeber the cubs and steve bartman?? The cards let it get to them and ended up loosing. oh yea Go CARDINALS and Rodgers should be abolished from baseball not only for the pine tar stunt but the cameraman stunt as well. He SUCKS!!!!!!

Believe me GP, if Rogers was booted out of the game (as the official baseball rule is written), the Cards would have won that game.
