Every one always think they know what is best for every one else,,,, just listen to what they tell you,,, weigh the answers and do what you feel is best for you. Most of them have your best interest at heart.

People who care about you dont tell you what to do but give you good advice,just looking out for you, but you still make your own decisions,people that dont really care who tells you what to do and cant do right themselves means they want you to be like them -not doing right too,have you ever heard of the saying "misery loves company"?even though people can tell you what they think you should do in reality we all have to make our on decisions and make our on mistakes this is what makes us stronger having our on life experiences.
